Welcome to the LAUNCH Automation Program at the University of South Florida!

In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, automation is transforming how businesses operate and redefining the future of work. Our 16-week program equips you with the skills needed to excel in this dynamic field, utilizing one of the industry-leading platforms, Automation Anywhere.

Participants will have the opportunity to earn both Essential and Advanced certifications, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Additionally, our curriculum includes training in Microsoft Excel, with a pathway to achieve a Microsoft Specialist certification.

Program Tuition

  • The cost of the LAUNCH Automation program is $4,000
  • Accepted funding sources: Vocational Rehabilitation, Private Pay.
  • We are in the process of securing other funding sources.

Program Components

Students can leave our program with:
  • Automation Anywhere Essentials Certification
  • Automation Anywhere Advanced Certification
  • Automation Anywhere "Automation Developer Start" Badge
  • Automation Anywhere "Automation Developer Accelerate" Badge
  • Updated or new resume that lists accomplishments in the program
  • Professional headshots
  • A tech-focused, professional LinkedIn profile and the ability to understand networking on LinkedIn
  • Internship (paid or unpaid) or project-based experience with a partner organization. (NEW)
    • Minimum of 25 hours.
    • Due to the diverse requirements of our business partners, this experience may begin after the program is over. Our staff will still offer the same level of support to the business and student in these cases.
  • Increased knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, and Excel through program participation
  • Extensive training and badging in Microsoft Excel topics (NEW)
    • Including but not limited to: Rows & Columns, Cells, Formatting, Formulas & Functions, Tables, Charts, PivotTables, and Power Query
  • Microsoft Office Specialist Certification, with a focus on Excel software (NEW)
  • Example: Excel Associate (Microsoft 365 Apps)

Program Eligibility:

  • 18 and older with a lifelong or acquired disability.
  • Out of high school.
  • Passion for working in the technology field.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the USF campus.
  • Can commit to a 4-month program.
  • Independent use of a functional communication system, self-care, behavioral regulation, and safety skills.
  • Familiarity and experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Email, and Internet Browsers/Chrome.
